Michael is an experienced analyst, facilitator, change management practitioner and leader who brings a deep history of helping clients get clear and get moving on pressing issues. Clients rely on him for his strength in diagnosing needs at all levels of an organization to provide greater self-awareness and alignment on both a leadership and organizational level.
He has over 18 years of experience leading strategy and organizational effectiveness initiatives for non-profit, public and private organizations. Prior to joining Coraggio, he was a Founder and Principal of two boutique consulting firms, Twin Goats LLC and The Canoe Group, that specialized in strategy and change work for values-based organizations like Mercy Corps, Portland General Electric, Oregon Cultural Trust, and World Affairs Council of Oregon. He was the Vice President of Marketing & Community Engagement with the Oregon Symphony and a member of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon’s Executive Transition Services Team, where he provided interim executive leadership for Free Geek, Bridges to Change, and Wordstock.
He has advanced graduate work in Education from Michigan State University, a M.M. in Music from Duquesne University, and a B.A. in Applied Music from Eastman School of Music. He is certified in the Prosci® Change Management methodology.
In between family commitments and work, Michael spends most of his spare time on his bikes, training or racing in the Northwest.
