The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the travel & tourism industry with a speed and ferocity that few were prepared for. We understand how challenging this time continues to be for you and the many stakeholders your team works so hard to support. We work with destination leaders across the country as they hunker down to begin the process of rethinking the future of their destinations and their organizations.
Our travel & tourism practice includes urban planners, economists, destination strategists and organizational development experts—all working together to bring a “total destination health” perspective to local recovery strategies. If you need advice, help prioritizing, or if you just need a sympathetic ear outside of your organization, let us know. We’re happy to spend some no-fee time helping you sort things out. We have set up virtual office hours between 10:00 and 2:00 (PST), Monday through Friday. If you would like to schedule time, we can be reached at 503-493-14522 or [email protected]
Our familiarity with the challenges travel & tourism organizations face builds trust and alignment with leadership, staff and stakeholders.
Our planning deliverables are clear, scalable and actionable—lending credibility to funding renewals and strengthening stakeholder engagement.
Our approach emphasizes organizational effectiveness, resulting in stronger leadership, higher-performing teams, and more efficient organizational processes.
We’re here to help you get clear, get focused and get moving toward your destination’s recovery from the impact of COVID-19. The future will look different, but you do have the ability to impact what it looks like. To help you, we have developed a Destination Recovery Toolkit that provides essential guidance and practical and tactical tools that will help kick-start the work ahead.
The GSTC establishes and manages global sustainable standards with the aim of increasing sustainable tourism knowledge and practices among public and private stakeholders. The GSTC is independent and neutral, serving the important roles of managing its global standards for sustainability in travel and tourism, fostering increased knowledge and understanding of sustainable tourism practices, promoting the adoption of universal sustainable tourism principles, and building demand for sustainable travel.
Our work with tourism leaders throughout the U.S. allows us to bring best practices and valuable perspective to each project.
